◊ Lavender lepidolite, Peruvian pyrite, and Brazilian kyanite necklace, prong set, hand fabricated from brass with vintage chain. Chain measures 22 inches in length with lobster clasp closure. Pendant is approximately 3 1/2 inches across.

◊ Lepidolite is a lilac-gray colored member of the mica group, occurring in granite pegmatites, quartz, and granites.

◊ Pyrite is a mineral that is an iron sulfide, more commonly known as fool’s gold. It is mostly found in coal mines. Name is derived from Greek: purites, meaning ‘of fire.’
