◊ A one of a kind, free form turquoise from the Black Widow mine in Nevada, creates a beautiful and organic piece for your wrist. The contrasting black designs, called black spiderweb matrix, gives it a unique texture. The turquoise is accented with a moissanite and set on a simple hammered band.

◊ Turquoise measures 16 x 29 mm and is set in a sterling silver bezel. Moissanite measures 3 mm and is set in a 14k solid gold bezel. The stones lay on a 14k gold fill hammered, flexible band.

◊ This turquoise formed in ancient seafloor shale at what is now known as the Black Widow mine in the Candelaria Mining District of Esmeralda County, Nevada. This small, very hard rock mine has produced hard turquoise ranging from light to dark blue, some with waterweb or spiderweb matrix. The name "Black Widow" was given to this mine because of the intense black spiderweb matrix that is found in some stones. They are co-owners of the mine with turquoise miner, historian, and jeweler, Philip Chambless, so you are getting this turquoise cabochon directly from the source!

◊ Turquoise is an opaque, blue–to–green mineral that is a hydrous phosphate of copper and aluminum. It has been prized as a gem and ornamental stone for thousands of years owing to its unique hue. The color varies depending on the other elements within the turquoise.

◊ Moissanite was first discovered by French chemist Henri Moissan in 1893 in a meteor crater in Arizona. Due to its scarcity, it is now a lab created gem by Charles & Collard.

◊ Moissanites are brilliant, sparkling stones which are often referred to as "space diamonds." They are incredibly durable, resistant to high heat, and rival diamonds in many arenas. Their hardness measures a 9.25 on the Mohs scale, making them an excellent choice for wearability. Forever One is graded to be colorless in comparison to a diamond color chart.
