◊ Five conflict free brilliant cut white diamonds, VS clarity, G-H color, measuring 3.25 and 2.25 mm each are bezel set individually in solid 14k recycled gold and soldered to a vertical gold band. The base of the ring measures approximately 6 x 18 mm and the band is a flat 1.5 x 1 mm band. The ring features approximately 0.5 ctw of diamonds and is shown in a brushed matté finish, but can be made in a polished finish as well. All of our diamonds are hand selected, conflict free, and never treated with color or heat.

◊ A brilliant cut refers to a diamond or other gemstone, cut in a particular form with abundant facets so as to have exceptional brilliance. The shape resembles that of a cone and provides maximized light return through the top of the diamond.

◊ The word diamond comes from the ancient Greek adámas, meaning unbreakable. Most natural diamonds are formed at high temperatures and pressure in the Earth's mantle. Carbon-containing minerals provide the carbon source, and the growth occurs over periods from 1 billion to over 3 billion years. Diamonds are brought close to the Earth's surface through deep volcanic eruptions by magma, which cools into igneous rocks.
